FT Live - Business of Football
As the lead designer for the biggest sporting event produced by the Financial Times, I was responsible for overseeing the production of all assets on the day and any pre-event materials.
Sports is an industry I’m passionate about and we decided to produce unique materials this year, this includes a faux style Matchday Programme and because of my data visualisation specialisation we also animated graphs to appear whilst the speakers were delivering their presentations.
I’ve also included below some other concepts we explored , one was built around the insight that “all major news outlets cover whatever is discussed at this event” so to demonstrate this I decided to create a football out of newspaper. I’ve also included a separate concept for the ad that recycled assets for last year as a quick turn around project.
